Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS):
We are seeking New York State certified Special Education/Literacy teachers or certified interns for small groups of 1-5 students for full and part-time contract positions in private schools for the duration of the school year. Daytime and after school hours are available.
Positions available in:
- Brooklyn
- Queens
- Manhattan
- Bronx
SETSS Requirements:
- Hold New York State certification as an intern or as a teacher of Students With Disabilities/Literacy
- Clearance and approval by NYC DOE
- Must NOT currently be employed by NYC DOE or previously employed by the NYC DOE within the past 12 months
- Fingerprint clearance
- Applicants must be experienced working with students one-on-one and in small groups of 5 or less
Speech Therapists:
We are looking for speech therapists who are driven, compassionate, up for an adventure, and ready to discover their potential!
In this role, the speech therapist will provide screening, diagnosis and treatment to children within the age ranges of 5-18 in a school setting. They will work with the families, school personnel, other service providers, and Knowledge Road to help achieve the child’s IESP goals.
Speech Therapist Requirements:
- Master’s degree with a major in speech-language pathology
- SLP licensure in New York State granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association
- Minimum of one year of experience in speech-language pathology
Occupational Therapists:
We are looking for occupational therapists who are driven, compassionate, up for an adventure, and ready to discover their potential!
In this role, the occupational therapist will provide screening, diagnosis and treatment to children within the age ranges of 5-18 in a school setting. They will work with the families, school personnel, other service providers, and Knowledge Road to help achieve the child’s IESP goals.
Occupational Therapist Requirments:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- New York State license
- Minimum of one year experience in occupational therapy
